I've been wanting a picnic basket. I thought I wanted the traditional wicker basket and had one in my cart until I saw this. I needed something to keep my wine and charcuterie cold. It was perfect! It even arrived with two plastic ice things. I packed some ice packs and went on my way. My wine was cold for hours. It didn't leak and was easy to wipe clean. It folds away easily and didn't take up a lot of space.I love it for pinic and go the go rides to keep for stored safebuy this and leave it in your car so when you need it it's there forr ice creamgreat for a picnic basket for my kiddosI purchased this because my wife and I do a lot of day and overnight trips through GA, SC, NC and sometimes TN and wanted a cooler for the car.While this is designed as a picnic basket, it makes a great cooler as well. I thought that it was better to get the large instead or medium. Truth be known, the medium would have been a better choice for us because a fully loaded large basket, especially with beverages, is heavy and awkward. However, it definitely keeps things cool. We augment the two "ice bottles" with dry ice.For the inaugural use we put two bottles of white wine, two pounds of grapes (in a zip lock), a few assorted 8 ounce cheeses, and over twelve bottles of water and still had room to spare. Like I mentioned we use this as a cooler. As a picnic basket I am pretty sure that it would excel in that role.The final thing that I like is how compactly it folds. Empty it will easily store under a car seat. Overall we are very pleased with this and should have purchased one a lot sooner. If ever I need to buy another, it will be the smaller, medium size because I definitely don't need the capacity of the large model.Wedding gifted, they love it as its sturdy and insulatedIt was the perfect size to carry my munchies to an outdoor concert. And I got plenty of complements.I have taken this out several times for picnics. It’s very roomy, I’ve only used it for a group of 2, but I think it is sufficient to carry food for four. I use this for grocery shopping at the market nearby on the weekends as well to keep meats on the 10-15 min walk home in the heat.This is preferable over a small sized cooler as it is lighter. Just throw an ice pack in to keep things cool. It is also more comfortable to carry with the padded handle. The only flaw in the design is the handle is in the way of the zipper when you are trying to zip and unzip - you have to do it with the handle down.I live in a small space, so collapsible for storage is important for me.LOVE THIS! We use it for picnics and for long drives, we use it for camping in our trailer to bring things in and out to the picnic table. Has a lovely comfortable thick handle. Great quality. I’m so happy I purchased this! It keeps things cold for hours, even without ice packs.The product looks great, have yet to use it, but looks like it will do the job! Looks sturdy and as described. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the ice packs are missing and this is one of the reasons I chose this basket. Now I have to decide what to do...Nice picnic basket but not waterproof at ALL. It Leaks gets all wet and everything else wet.
