I ordered these bags (8” x 8”) for using with clear color mason jars (32 oz) for my Kratky hydroponic gardening since there is a shortage of amber color mason jars during the pandemic. The bags serve to keep light out of the jars which is necessary for this type of gardening. I secured the bag to the jar with a rubber band around the neck of the jar. I can still see through the bag enough to determine if I need to add water. Works out perfectly!Best price on amazon! I use them to protect my collectibles from being damaged during storage from the sun.
