I need brown paper bags mostly to store root vegetables. These work but the handles come off easily. Not a huge deal for me, but don't count on being able to carry bags with the handles!I think I will like the smaller size but will decide and order the one I like best.I was disappointed with the durability, the handles are not trustworthy. I am not sure that I will purchase again.Handles not that strongI like the handles folded on the outside. It makes it easy to ignore when you don’t need them and very easy to use when you do need them.Thank youWe use these for our recycling since we have to take it down to the garage in the elevator of our apartment building.We have reusable bags for groceries and our store charges 10 cents per paper bag. These are more economical.They are sturdy enough to use single for recycling that contains glass, and we have not had a handle break. I double them up and reuse them for other purposes, and keep a couple of these doubled up for grocery store overflow on days when we buy more than expected.We will buy these again!These bags are not heavy duty,they tear and the handles break easily.
